Digi In Deeper Class
I have started a new class and the final class to Digital Scrapbooking Series. I really thought that I had a clue on how to do thng in photoshop, but have realize that through this series of classes that there is so much to learn in Photoshop. I think the biggest problem I'm having is that I have such a lack of people photos and I had to start taking them from my family just to have enough for the class. If you haven't taken any classes by Jessica Sprague I highly recommend it.
The materials came form the class and I couldn't find the credit information and the photos were taken by my cousin LA.
So here is my take on our first lesson in Digi In Deeper.
See you next time....

New Layout
Classes..... Online classes are pretty good these days and you can take all sorts of them. Since I love to scrapbook I decided to take a digital scrapbooking class. So far, it's a great class and I have learned so much. This class is for creating digital layouts. I do love create the traditional scrapbook layouts and I also love digital scrapbooking. They both have there pro and cons, which I will leave up to you to decide.
The class that I'm currently taking in through Jessica Spargue's website and is for digital scrapbooking. You can either use photoshop elements or photoshop. They have a variety of classes that can fit any budget as well as your personal intrests.
The layout that follows is from lesson one. Enjoy!

This weeks topic-Organziation
Organziation what does it mean? To me the most important thing is that I can find supplies when I need them. I have so much stuff that it was really out of control. So I measured my space and headed out to the container store and purchsed what I needed. The container store has these great container that are drawers. So I purchse a total of 12 and started to organize. I did go through and purge things that I knew I wouldn't use, such a paper punch items. The next thing was scraps cardstock that is left after a project. Before the organization day I would just toss all of the scrap in a drawer and wait for them to sort themselves. Well OK I know this really can't happen, so I went to Michaels and purchsed the 12x12 paper holders by IRIS. It just so happens they were on sales for $5.95, this was a great deal compared to the $10 they usually are. So I purchase 5 of them and came home and sorted the scraps by colors. Yellow/Green, Blue/Purple, Brown/Tan, Red/Orange, Black/White. I did realize that I need one more for the multiple colored paper. I also use my label maker and lableed everything so I know where to look when I need something. I still need to organize two more sections of my scrapbooking room, but at least I have a good start. I still have too much stuff and I know that I always will as long as there are paper and sissors and scrapbooker.

365 days of scrapbooking
From my title you can see that I have posted 365 days of scrapbooking. Over the course of this next year I would like to increase my productivity and use this Blog to map my journey. I will include projects that I have completed as well as some of the tips I have learned along the way. I will post pictures when I complete a project and post any time that I think anyone out there may like.
I recently purchase a cricut machine and have been working with create svg files, which are compatible with the cricut machine.
Well wish my luck on this awesome journey.......
