Organziation what does it mean? To me the most important thing is that I can find supplies when I need them. I have so much stuff that it was really out of control. So I measured my space and headed out to the container store and purchsed what I needed. The container store has these great container that are drawers. So I purchse a total of 12 and started to organize. I did go through and purge things that I knew I wouldn't use, such a paper punch items. The next thing was scraps cardstock that is left after a project. Before the organization day I would just toss all of the scrap in a drawer and wait for them to sort themselves. Well OK I know this really can't happen, so I went to Michaels and purchsed the 12x12 paper holders by IRIS. It just so happens they were on sales for $5.95, this was a great deal compared to the $10 they usually are. So I purchase 5 of them and came home and sorted the scraps by colors. Yellow/Green, Blue/Purple, Brown/Tan, Red/Orange, Black/White. I did realize that I need one more for the multiple colored paper. I also use my label maker and lableed everything so I know where to look when I need something. I still need to organize two more sections of my scrapbooking room, but at least I have a good start. I still have too much stuff and I know that I always will as long as there are paper and sissors and scrapbooker.
Happy Scappin,
Michele

365 days of scrapbooking
From my title you can see that I have posted 365 days of scrapbooking. Over the course of this next year I would like to increase my productivity and use this Blog to map my journey. I will include projects that I have completed as well as some of the tips I have learned along the way. I will post pictures when I complete a project and post any time that I think anyone out there may like.
I recently purchase a cricut machine and have been working with create svg files, which are compatible with the cricut machine.
Well wish my luck on this awesome journey.......
